Evanton Story Telling

National Theatre of the Highland were involved in providing techincal service for the Story Telling Fundraiser ran by the Evanton Fundraising Group. Funds raised would go toward the Santa's Grotto in December. It was a fantastic night everyone who attended really enjoyed and came back with lots of memories of a fantastic evening at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, Evanton.
Blitz Awards 2008

This year saw the National Theatre of the Highlands take part for the second year running in technical and for the first time with Blitz performance arts at this years annual Blitz Awards for the Inverness Blitz Academy of American Football. This year saw the standard and quality leap even further than before with a brand new layout, new screen, new mics, new lights, and new actors.
This year was the first time for more action that happened in the arena area outside the main theatre with our very own dj, playing all the latest sounds and keeping the presenters and family and friends on there toes.
This year saw the stage in a complete new light. with moving heads, mirror moving heads, leds, trussing lots more, we even had Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew pay us a little visit and highjacked the theatre untill the Highland Wildcats mascot Rockey came to the rescue on a Harley Davidson.
The National Theatre of the Highlands would like to pay a special thanks to Stephen Leslie from I-Light for all his help in this production. Also NTH would like to thank Keldon Miles from Disco Brothers for the entertainment in the outer arena.
KCC Stearing Group: Diamond Jubilee Hall

The very first meeting took place in Cornerstone at 7pm on the 30th October 2008. The next meeting is planned for the 20th of November 2008. Location is still to be decided.
KCC Public Meeting for DJ Hall

Kiltearn Community Council are going to be holding a public meeting on Wednesday 1st of October 2008 to discuss the future of the Diamond Jubilee Hall. Please come along and raise your views. The National Theatre of the Highlands will be there with our PA System set up to make sure everyone can hear what is being said. As being able to hear the councillers at the Highland Council meeting was a problem.

NTH are proud to support Save the DJ Hall Campaign in Evanton. NTH are proud to help save the Diamond Jubilee Hall in Evanton it is one of our regular venues for show, drama workshops, session and soon to be the venue for our new film group starting later this year.
HIGHLAND's GOT TALENT

This November will see the launch of Highland's Got talent. Anyone Age 8 - 13 can take part so if you can sing, dance, tell jokes, have a band, solo singer, comedian, impressionist this we want to here from you.

NTH ANNUAL SUMMER SHOW
Last Updated: 16th June 2008The NTH Annual Summer show is making a return it has been 3 years since NTH did its last summer show and we thought it was about time to make the return of the famous NTH Summer show. This show is going to be bigger and better than ever before with the addition to our Dramatix Crew in sound and lighting it is going to be a fantastic explosive show. NTH still have not announced the name of the show which will be released later this month. With Dates and times and venues.
So make sure you keep your calender free for the summer show of the year.

It will not be much longer before the film group is launched. The film group will start in Evanton and then it will expand to our other groups. Evanton Drama have some great ideas for projects so don't delay join NTH today and become the star of the show.

The National Theatre of the Highlands has been asked back by the Inverness Blitz Academy of American Football to produce the Blitz Awards 2008. Planning has already started by Inverness Blitz & NTH to make the Blitz Awards 2008 even bigger and better than ever before making this years awards a night to remember.

NTH FILM GROUP

The National Theatre of the Highlands are expanding into film. If you fancy to become part of the team, behind the scenes or infront of the camera's Don't delay contact NTH today info@nth.org.uk. NTH have some great idea's for projects for the film group. The film group will launch in Evanton one night a week. The first project is to create a short film about the Highlands of Scotland.

NTH Show is coming to town....

The National Theatre of the Highlands took part in Volunteer Highlands 1st Recuit Fayre for Ross-shire. This is NTH second Recuirment Fayre we have taken part in Volunteer Highland. We took part in the Volunteer Highland Recuitment Fayre Inverness-shire last year on the 2nd June 2007. NTH have made lots of new friends at both Fayres and have a few project in the pipeline.
